Born in New Zealand, and raised in Australia, A. L. Tippett has now made her home in tropical North Queensland. She began writing her first novel when she was twelve but abandoned it after deciding being an author wasn’t a “real” job. After the birth of her two beautiful children, she has rediscovered her passion for writing. Her debut series, The MINATH Chronicles: A Dragon’s Mind, A Dragon’s Body and A Dragon’s Soul, is a tale of magical realism and contemporary fantasy with all manner of mythical creatures. Her latest release, Mother Trucking Monsters, has the main character investigating whether the Big Mango in Bowen was stolen by a magical creature or if the owner is simply trying to commit insurance fraud. Her books are available to purchase via her website or at the Pinnacle Whistlestop Coffee Cart, the Gift Shed Cafe Finch Hatton, and the Broken River Visitor Information Centre.
